Hamish Watson

Hamish Watson is a Renewable Derivatives Broker at Clarksons, specialising in biomethane and renewable fuel markets across Europe. He works with maritime, transport and energy clients to support decarbonisation through scalable biofuel solutions, including biomethane and bioLNG.

In the last six months, Hamish has helped facilitate more than 680 GWh of biomethane across European energy and transport markets, supporting decarbonisation initiatives in the Dutch, UK and German transport sectors, as well as the German heating market.

Most recently, Hamish supported the supply of approximately 15,000 tonnes of bioLNG across European terminals, helping shipping companies meet FuelEU Maritime requirements and accelerate fleet decarbonisation by providing accessibility to biomethane.
