Stefka Gerova

Stefka is a seasoned finance leader with a wealth of experience and deep understanding of energy markets and trading. She is currently CFO and Member of the Management Board of Axpo Group's Trading and Sales business area, having previously held a similar role in Centrica plc's trading business, Centrica Energy.

Stefka began her career with US bank J.P. Morgan in 2005, first as an equity research analyst in New York, covering the US utility and power generation industry, and later as Vice President, EMEA Commodity-Linked Financing in London where she was responsible for the origination and structuring of innovative financing, working capital and derivatives solutions across commodities.

In 2015, Stefka joined UK-based Centrica plc and held senior roles across Corporate M&A, Corporate Finance and the trading division, Centrica Energy. In her last role as Vice President, Principal Investments and Strategic Partnerships, she was responsible for developing, originating and executing investment and partnership opportunities to advance Centrica Energy's trading and flexibility management portfolio.

Stefka is a CFA charter holder and holds a Master's degree in Global Finance from Gorgetown's School of Foreign Service as well as a BA degree in International Relations from Pomona College.
