Thomas Hulse

Tom has been working at the intersection of AI and business strategy since 2015, when he led his first AI project using Random Forest modelling in the utilities sector for Accenture clients. Their early work laid the foundation for a career defined by strategic thinking, technical depth, and a passion for real-world impact. In 2024, Tom became the AI Lead for Trading and Supply, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization’s AI strategy. His work focuses on four key areas:

• Value and Use Case Adoption: Tom helps identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities that improve decision-making, boost operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.
• Data Governance: He supports the development of robust data governance frameworks that ensure data quality, security, and compliance with EU regulatory standards
• Skill Development: Tom is passionate about building AI literacy across teams. He fosters a culture of innovation by equipping colleagues with the skills and tools needed to confidently apply AI and machine learning in their work.
• Technology Enablement: He actively scouts, evaluates, and integrates the latest AI tools and platforms, ensuring the organization stays at the cutting edge of innovation and maintains a competitive advantage.
